The Pistolet

While in Belgium everyone knows the pistolet as a wonderful little round bread, split down the middle, with a soft crumb and a golden crust, this is not the case abroad... confusion with a dangerous object could lead us down the wrong path!

Its name historically comes from its price, a pistole, an old coin, or from the weapon that identified soldiers and to which children distributed bread in wartime... But the mystery remains!

Belgian Taste

Pistolet Original offers a beautiful menu of pistols filled with or accompanied by local products and typically Belgian "homemade" recipes... prepared American bread, minced pickles, brown shrimp, fromage blanc with radish and onions, Gouda and chicory salad, mayonnaise meatballs, Liège black pudding, or even suggestions such as breaded chicken or a hot recipe straight from our kitchen.

A seasonal salad, a selection of desserts, sweets, and drinks made in Belgium also complete our gourmet menu.

Pistolet Original is a pleasant place, a grocery store, and a counter where you can share a light meal in a friendly atmosphere, in a contemporary and original setting. You can also take away all our pistol selections, suggestions, and grocery products.

You can also choose to have them delivered to your workplace or home.
